Job summary

Schweitzer is hiring an Instructional Assistant II to provide 1:1 support for students with mild/moderate needs. The role covers 6 hours per day under a 0.75 FTE arrangement, supporting instruction and classroom activities in collaboration with teachers.

The candidate should have experience with Resource, Learning Handicap, or Communicatively Handicap programs and be able to run small groups while assisting in larger groups as needed.

Qualifications

• Instructional Assistant II with experience or training related to Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Ability to run small groups and assist students in large groups, in both Special Day Class and General Education settings, and support the teacher's needs.
