ACCEL Schools seeks a 1:1 Instructional Aide for Columbus Humanities Arts & Technology Academy in Columbus, Ohio. You will assist teachers, support student behavior, and help with classroom activities in a PK-8 setting.

Responsibilities include supporting lessons, planning activities, chaperoning events, and performing clerical tasks while promoting a positive climate aligned with the school's philosophy. Requires associate degree or college coursework and Paraprofessional Exam.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework.
• Passage of Paraprofessional Exam.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with lessons for individuals or groups per plan.
• Help plan classroom activities and support parent relations.
• Support school activities and events (assemblies, field trips, etc.).
• Perform clerical duties (grading papers, making copies).
• Assist use of classroom technology.
• Maintain cleanliness of classroom and common areas.
• Uphold school philosophy and mission in all activities.
• Other duties such as field trips or duty rotations.
