Mainstay Supportive Housing and Home Care, Inc. seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide 1:1 care in a permanent supportive housing complex in the Boston area.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, companionship, and support for daily living activities. Hours are limited initially with potential to grow as the program expands; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, and a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a residential setting.
• CPR and First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Basic computer skills and ability to use time/attendance software.

Responsabilidades

• Engage in compassionate exchanges to meet members where they are and honor needs.
• Perform direct care 1:1 guided by the member's care plan (ADLs, hygiene, dressing, mobility, meals).
• Assist with laundry and light housekeeping.
• Prepare meals for/with members and provide companionship during visits.
• Write daily service logs and record progress in the GPS system.
• Report health status changes to the supervisor and represent Mainstay with integrity.
