Job summary

Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 4–12. We are seeking an English and History Teacher to shape schedules, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues.

The role emphasizes personalized, student-centered instruction and ongoing professional growth. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a willingness to teach a broad range of courses, with resources provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives) with curriculum provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time.
• Differentiate and personalize academic instruction and support social and emotional development in students ranging from 4th - 12th grades.
