Job summary

Serenity, LLC is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey.

The DSP role includes assisting with daily living skills, transportation, and adherence to person-centered plans, while promoting independence and dignity. Flexible scheduling and paid training are available, with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals for one-on-one support.
• Experience with I/DD is preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support community activities, appointments, errands, and social opportunities.
• Teach daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and shopping.
• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized.
• Provide safe transportation.
• Follow individualized service plans and person-centered goals.
• Complete timely service notes and required documentation.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-advocacy.
