Job summary

Oak Grove Preschool is seeking a Paraprofessional to support classroom teachers, assist students with learning activities, and help implement IEPs and behavior plans. The role emphasizes supervision, data collection, and instructional support with a focus on student progress.

The position is full-time, 180 days per year, with 7.5 hours per day, starting immediately. Candidates must meet Georgia credentialing requirements and be able to work across resource, self-contained and regular classroom

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree or passing of the GACE Ethics Assessment and GACE Paraprofessional Assessment required.
• Credentials aligned with federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Candidate must be able to support classroom instruction and student learning.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teacher with instructional activities.
• Assist students in resource, self-contained and regular classrooms.
• Follow IEP or behavior plans and ensure safety in activities.
• Operate and support classroom technology and assistive devices.
• Provide feedback on student performance to teachers.
• Prepare instructional materials and display learning centers.
• Assist with student assessment, data collection, and recordkeeping.
• Supervise students during activities and transit to/from school.
