Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Passing of the GACE Ethics Assessment and GACE Paraprofessional Assessment required.
• Certification as mandated by the Professional Standards Commission may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support learning using instructional strategies prescribed by appropriate personnel.
• Assist students in resource, self-contained, and regular classrooms.
• Adhere to IEP/behavior/healthcare plans as required.
• Provide assistive technology support and materials preparation.
• Supervise students during classroom and bus activities.
