The Home for Little Wanderers, Inc. is seeking a 1:1 Classroom Support Counselor for the COVE School in Plymouth, MA. This role focuses on providing individual academic and therapeutic support to students with emotional disabilities within day and residential programs.

Under supervision, you will implement intervention strategies based on IEP/ICMP and treatment plans, promoting safe classroom participation and social-emotional growth while coordinating with teachers and staff.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One-year childcare experience in an academic or residential setting with a population of children.
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software applications.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsabilidades

• Provide a safe and secure school environment for clients under supervision.
• Deliver individual academic and therapeutic support per IEP/ICMP and treatment plans.
• Coordinate with staff to implement intervention strategies and co-regulation.
• Assist with transitions between activities and support classroom participation.
• Provide First Aid when needed and coordinate medical or emergency situations as required.
• Maintain documentation including timesheets, logs, data collections, and incident reports.
• Participate in faculty meetings and trainings
