Job summary

ExpertCare in Southeast Michigan is seeking reliable caregivers to work 1:1 with recipients in clients' homes, providing support, encouragement and skill-building activities. You will be working in our clients homes while supporting, encouraging and helping with skill building activities.

You will also be bringing them into the community to help grow and strengthen their personal goals outside of their home environment.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
• Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with recipients in their homes providing support and skill-building activities
• Assist with community integration and activities outside the home
• Support, encourage, and help recipients achieve personal goals
