Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in the Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties area to help individuals live more independently and with dignity.

You’ll build meaningful one-on-one connections, support individuals with I/DD, and work flexible part-time schedules close to home with weekly pay and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD).
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+).
• Reliable transportation to support client needs in the community.

Responsibilities

• Empower independence and confidence for clients.
• Engage in hobbies, activities, and meaningful moments.
• Support daily living tasks like meal prep and routines.
• Encourage community engagement and social connection.
• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.

Compensation & Flexibility

  • Weekdays and afternoons in the Pittston area, including Exeter, Kingston, and Throop!
• Short commutes (typically within 30 minutes of home)
• Mileage reimbursement options
