Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher (attach diploma) or completion of two years post-secondary study with 72 credit hours or 48 semester units or High School diploma/GED with appropriate para-professional certification.
• Ability to obtain and hold a valid First Aid/CPR card and pass Safe Schools training modules.
• Experience in educational settings and ability to assist reading/arts, writing and mathematics readiness as appropriate.
• Willingness to support students with medically fragile needs and non-English language learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring and supplemental practice under direct supervision of a licensed teacher.
• Assist with behavior management, supervision, and clerical tasks as needed.
• Support students 1:1 or in small groups, adapt curriculum for diverse learners.
• Complete required district logs and attendance reporting; maintain student records.
