Job summary

Kennewick School District seeks a Paraeducator for the Autism Program at Sunset View Elementary School. You will support Tier II autism students one-to-one and with general ed peers, under the supervision of the special education teacher and specialists.

Responsibilities include implementing prescribed instructional strategies, collecting progress data, assisting with classroom tasks, and maintaining accurate documentation to support student success.

Qualifications

• Must uphold district policies and maintain student safety.
• Must attach unofficial transcript proving AA degree or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to autism program students.
• Assist with data collection and progress monitoring.
• Implement prescribed instructional strategies for behavioral support.
• Supervise students to promote a safe, positive learning climate.
