Job summary

Proficio Therapy Group is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA services to children with autism across clinic, home, school, and community settings in Livermore, CA. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you will implement treatment plans, collect data, and support skill development while reducing challenging behaviors.

This role emphasizes collaboration with families and team members, ongoing training, and adherence to ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous ABA therapy experience preferred.
• Must pass health screenings and clear background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality 1:1 direct ABA services to clients with autism in clinic, home, school, and/or community settings under supervision.
• Implements individualized treatment and skill-building programs.
• Applies positive behavior intervention strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and increase adaptive skills.
• Accurately collects and maintains client data and documents services via session notes.
• Collaborates with caregivers, BCBAs, and agency team members.
• Participates in ongoing training related to behavior analysis and professional development.
• May perform administrative tasks in case of client cancellations.
