The Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District is searching for a Special Education Teaching Assistant, at the Winthrop Elementary School. The successful candidate will provide support within a specialized classroom setting and inclusive settings. Candidate must have the ability to be flexible, work as part of a team and exhibit strong communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates experienced with cognitive impairment and social-emotional disabilities. Familiarity with ABA practices and CPI helpful.

The Winthrop School has an enrollment of approximately 370 pupils in preschool through fifth grade. The school contains 17 classrooms, a cafeteria/auditorium, a gym, learning center, music room, art room, language arts center, technology center, principal's and secretary's office, a health office, and a library. The field behind the school provides ample space for childrens' play as well as playground equipment.
