Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to verify outbound materials and ensure paperwork is correct by physical inspection. This role requires constant walking in the warehouse and serves as the final checkpoint to support timely delivery to customers.

Responsibilities include monitoring shipments, auditing order accuracy before loading, printing labels and packing lists, and entering data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate from college or technical school or 0–1 year related experience.
• Ability to read routing guides and carrier documents; write routine reports.
• Basic math skills and ability to enter data using Word, Excel and Outlook.
• SAP experience is preferred for daily use in this position.

POSITION OBJECTIVE : The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the verification and quality control of outbound materials. The Shipping Coordinator will ensure that all paperwork is correct by physical inspection of materials. This position requires constant walking throughout the warehouse during all weather conditions, both hot and cold. Shipping coordinators act as a final checkpoint for our orders and play a pivotal role in managing timely delivery to our customers.

• Two-year certificate from college or technical school; or zero to one years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as routing guides, carrier documents, etc. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with all employees of organization and outside vendors as necessary.
• Must apply concepts of basic math and perform various calculations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic computer skills including data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Proficiency in SAP is preferred as daily use of SAP may be required in this position.
