Job summary

Voxidea is seeking experienced paralegals for remote support of U.S. immigration law matters. You will draft, file, and track visa petitions, affidavits, and motions while coordinating with attorneys and clients in English and Spanish.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years as a paralegal in U.S. immigration, a law degree or equivalent, and proficiency with Clio or MyCase. This is a fully remote role, with international residency expectations and strong growth potential.

We’re hiring Paralegals with experience in employment-based immigration to support U.S.-based law firms. Work closely with attorneys, manage case files, and contribute to successful client outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

• Draft and prepare immigration-related legal documents, including visa petitions, affidavits, appeals, and motions.
• Submit immigration petitions and applications to relevant agencies, meeting all deadlines.
• Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and case precedents.
• Communicate with clients in English and Spanish, addressing inquiries and providing updates.
• Maintain organized case files and accurate documentation for immigration cases.
• Prepare and review immigration forms for visas and other processes.
• Support attorneys with administrative tasks related to immigration cases.
• Track visa deadlines and case progress, keeping attorneys informed.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Has at least two years of experience as a legal assistant or law clerk.
• Holds a law degree (or equivalent) from their home country.
• At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal in a U.S. immigration law firm.
• Is proficient in legal software like Clio or MyCase (preferred).
• Is bilingual in English (C1 or higher) and Spanish, both spoken and written.
• Can work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with immigration-specific databases and software.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration procedures, visa types, and forms (family-based, humanitarian, and employment-based immigration).
• Permanently resides in Latin America.
• Owns a reliable laptop (Windows or Mac, 2017 or newer) with a stable internet connection.
