Job Description
POSITION GOAL Support, optimize, and maintain information systems to improve organizational efficiency and productivity.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1. Perform the successful analysis, design, development, and implementation of information systems.
- 2. Follow specifications and procedures during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- 3. Adhere to critical district deadlines.
- 4. Adhere to development, scheduling, and delivery of project plans.
- 5. Use data translation, synchronization, and compiling to develop and support data sourcing and output to optimize operations.
- 6. Support reporting and analytics applications.
- 7. Support applications development.
- 8. Develop data dashboards and applications for end user data reporting and analysis.
- 9. Assure compliance with district and departmental standards.
- 10. Keep current with hardware and software technology through education courses and self- study.
- 11. Assume responsibility for specific systems/applications as assigned.
- 12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Business Applications, Assistant Director – SIS, Director of Software & Systems, or CTO.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree with major work in a field related to Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- One (1) year experience demonstrating expertise in data analysis, software development, data systems design, or database administration
- Hands-on experience with complex enterprise systems and/or large databases
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of information systems analysis, design, and development
- Proficiency with software development toolsEstablish and maintain professional working relationships with teams, leadership, customers, and the general public
- Ability to timely troubleshoot and resolve application issues
- Proven experience as an enterprise system project team member
- Preferred K-12 experience
