Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking to fill a field position at one of its Kentucky quarries. The role involves operating haul units and other mobile equipment to support quarry production, performing utility duties, and conducting pre-shift inspections.

Candidates should be able to work in outdoor, fast-paced environments, maintain safety standards, and assist with maintenance and production tasks as needed. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and robust benefits.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate haul units and other mobile equipment safely and efficiently to support quarry production.
• Perform utility duties throughout the quarry, including cleanup, material handling, and equipment support.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and report safety, equipment, or operational concerns promptly.
• Support plant and quarry operations by assisting with production, maintenance, and operational tasks as needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and environmentally compliant work area while contributing to team productivity goals.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
