Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Southeast Agg LLC is seeking a Ready Mix Driver I to safely operate a ready-mix truck and deliver concrete to customer sites. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain delivery records, and ensure timely, quality service while upholding safety policies.

The role requires a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and strong communication with customers and team members. Expect a physically demanding environment and adherence to all procedures and safety

What You'll Be Doing

Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.

Deliver quality product in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service.

Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required documentation.

Follow company safety policies, traffic laws, and operational procedures at all times.

What Are We Looking For

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and ability to maintain a safe driving record.

Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

Ability to operate equipment efficiently and follow established procedures.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and team members.

Ability to perform job duties in a physically demanding environment and adapt to changing work conditions.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

What We Offer

$20.60 to $25.67 per hour.

Candidates with one year or more of RMC experience are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days of successful employment.
