Job Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including hiring, developing, and leading store associates to ensure excellent customer experiences and meet business goals. When the Store Manager is absent, you assume primary responsibilities to maintain store performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand: Supervise daily associate goals, ensure brand standards, analyze store trends, and resolve customer issues.
2. People: Recruit, train, develop, and motivate team members; manage associate relations and communication.
3. Operations: Execute company processes, manage inventory and payroll, and ensure compliance with store procedures.
4. Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe environment, protect assets, and ensure policy adherence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Retail sales/customer service experience preferred
• Management experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Availability to meet business needs
• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
