Occlutech is seeking a Vice President R&D to lead product-focused research and development across the organization, reporting to the CEO and serving on the Management Team. You will set direction for innovation, guide products from concept through validation, launch and serial production, and ensure robust design control, change control and risk management.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or higher in engineering, technical or scientific discipline.
• Several years of R&D experience in medical devices with comparable products.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, MDSAP and 21 CFR 820.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Aufgaben

• Develop and manage detailed R&D plans, budgets, milestones and resources.
• Generate and evaluate new product ideas and guide concepts through validation.
• Lead product-focused R&D to drive new product development and innovation.
• Support clinical studies and collaborate with related departments.
• Transfer products from development to serial production, optimizing processes.
• Maintain design, change control and risk management processes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, Clinical Research and Marketing to advance products through proof of concept to launch.
• Partner with key opinion leaders and site managers to advance IP initiatives.
• Lead and develop the on-site R&D team in Germany and Istanbul.
