Job summary

REED Türkiye is seeking a Vision Systems & Automation Expert for our multinational manufacturing client in Turkey. You will design and implement machine vision solutions, optimize architectures, and develop software components for scalable automation across production lines.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, IT and external suppliers, lead commissioning and validation, and evaluate AI/ML based vision technologies to drive continuous improvement in global manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or related field.
• Experience with industrial vision systems, image processing, and automated inspection technologies.
• Experience in automation systems and PLC programming.
• Knowledge of Python, C#, or C++ for software development.
• Understanding of machine vision integration within manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and automation architectures.
• Experience in system commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional and international environments.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and standardize vision architectures, image-processing algorithms, and inspection concepts.
• Analyze technical requirements and assess feasibility of vision, software, and automation solutions.
• Create technical concepts, proof-of-concepts, and feasibility studies for new technologies and applications.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, IT, Maintenance, and external suppliers throughout project execution.
• Support the development of scalable and reusable software components and automation architectures.
• Lead commissioning, validation, optimization, and continuous improvement activities for vision systems.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies in industrial vision, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
• Contribute to global standardization and knowledge-sharing initiatives across manufacturing sites.
