Job summary

Alshaya Group Avrasya, Kuwait-based retailer, is seeking a Merchandiser for Victoria’s Secret in Turkey. You will manage merchandising planning, OTB, forward planning, stock levels and reporting, while coordinating with Host Brand and local teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years’ experience, fluency in English, strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with high ownership of responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Economics, Business Administration, Statistics or Engineering degrees are preferred.
• Min. 4 years’ experience.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills to work out budgets and understand sales figures.
• Ability to work in fast - paced environment , strong problem - solving skills and results - driven mindset.
• The capability to work well as part of a team and to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people.
• Sound decision-making skills and the ability to plan and priorities.
• Be proactive and have high ownership for responsibility area.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, Excel is a must.
• Very well organized and strong daily follow up skills.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for merchandising planning, OTB, forward planning, stock management .
• Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
• Produce/analyze sales/stock to determine best sellers, worse sellers, stock levels, covers, stock and sale margins.
• Coordinate the information flow between Host Brand and Team members in Turkey.
• Generate all reports needed internally and to the Host Brand.
• Make sure that stores have optimum stock levels and right stock at all times.
• Join weekly calls and be in contact with international teams and discuss merch-related issues.
• Prepare sales targets for promotions within target margin.
• Visit stores once a week to observe and guide store teams.
• Set the correct and quick information flow with the related departments
