Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Trade Operations Analyst to support customs operations in Turkey and the broader Middle East. The role is remote, based in Turkey, with up to 15-20% travel to regional sites including Germany.

You will monitor and analyze trade processes, optimize customs clearance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in a related field, have 3–7 years in international trade, and are fluent in Turkish and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Customs Administration, International Trade, or Supply Chain Management
• 3-7 years of experience in international trade regulations and customs for medical products
• Knowledge of SAP/GTS and Excel
• Written and spoken Turkish and English; Arabic is a plus
• High-level mathematical and data analytics skills; strong communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Interact with customs authorities in Turkey and other Middle East countries
• Maintain files and data for imports/exports for audit readiness and respond to audits
• Coordinate with cross functional teams: Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, Customer Services
• Monitor movement of materials to ensure safe, efficient delivery in the EMEA region

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Trade Operations Analyst to work in Turkey and support our customs operations in Turkey and the Middle East region (mainly in the UAE).

This exciting role plays a crucial role in ensuring that every step of the Trade Operations process is cost-effective, productive, and efficient. You will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and reporting on Trade Operations activities to resolve issues, optimize Customs Clearance performance, reduce cost, and improve efficiency. As a Trade Operations Analyst you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Dealing with customs authorities in Turkey and other countries in the Middle East
• Maintaining files, data, and other supporting information for imports and exports for an audit-ready state and coordinate with internal customers in response to audits or other requests for information pertaining to company import / export activities
• Collaborating with cross functional internal stakeholders, such as Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Logistics and Transport, and Customer Services and Customer Relations Departments
• Monitoring the efficiency of movement of materials and products within and outside of the EMEA Region to ensure safe and efficient delivery, receipt, storage of products

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Customs Administration, International Trade, or Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 3-7 years of experience in International Trade regulations and customs requirements for import/ exports of Medical Products ideally
• Knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems required. Proficiency in SAP/GTS, Excel
• Written and spoken Turkish and English, Arabic is a plus
• High-level mathematical and data analytics skills
• Strong communication skills, ability to prioritize and work in a team environment collaborating with cross functional teams

Work location:

This role is remote, based in Turkey. It may include up to 15-20% travel, domestic/international (Germany mainly).
