Job summary

Turknet is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our game changer team in Istanbul. You will design, develop and execute tests across functional, regression, integration and performance areas to ensure high-quality software.

Collaborating with product management and development, you will create test scenarios, manage defects and continuously improve testing processes to support fast, reliable releases in a dynamic telecom environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of software testing experience.
• Experience with API testing and web applications.
• Knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, TestNG) and test management systems (JIRA).
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Interact with product management and development teams to understand testing objectives.
• Design and execute functional, regression, performance, and security tests.
• Create test scenarios and test cases, and manage test processes.
• Document and analyze defects during testing. Create task and share defect reports with the development team.
• Coordinate bug, defect resolution and testing processes.
• Continuously evaluate and improve test processes and quality control methods.

Who You Are

Must-Haves

• At least 3 years of experience in software testing.
• Knowledge of API testing and web applications.

• Knowledge of test analysis, design, test case development, execution and reporting.
• Knowledge of SQL and No-SQL databases.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Apache Kafka, Redpanda ,RabbitMQ , Redis etc.
• Experience in DevOps practices and setting up tests on CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in performance/load testing tools (Locust,Jmeter,K6 etc)
