Job summary

Sestek is seeking a Solution Test Engineer to join our Hybrid team in Istanbul or Ankara. You will test AI-powered conversational solutions, design test scenarios, and work closely with engineering to ensure quality and reliability.

You’ll use Postman and Playwright for automation, gain exposure to React/JavaScript stacks, and contribute to robust testing processes across products and configurations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a test engineer in IT.
• Experience testing solutions to minimize customer issues and prevent errors.
• Developing new test scenarios and updating test documents.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and test cases.
• Create test settings on virtual machines and maintain them.

What we expect :

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a test engineer in IT
• Testing solutions, to ensure high quality, minimize customer-facing issues, and prevent potential errors before they occur
• Applying decided test methods and methodologies
• Developing new test scenarios and updating test documents according to development processes
• Creating test settings on virtual machines, updating and maintaining them if required
• Reporting test results
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman and Playwright)
• Working closely with Integration and Solution Engineers on solution configurations.
• Designing solutions and configurations together with the engineering team.
• Analyzing use cases and use common testing tools such as Postman and Playwright

Who we are looking for :

• Bachelor’s degree from an engineering or a science faculty
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Good team worker and willing to take responsibility

• Experience with C#, JavaScript, or React/React Native would be a plus

• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS and WebSocket (WS/WSS) protocols and testing methodologies would be a plus
• Experience with use case analysis and application configuration
• Deep understanding of software architecture, scalability, and testability
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving at a system-wide level
