Responsibilities

• Plan inland transports in the most cost-effective way and monitor performance.
• Execute transport instructions per customer requests.
• Coordinate moves with rail/port for imports and exports.
• Monitor transport execution to ensure prompt delivery.
• Monitor haulers and equipment availability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor hauler performance and address service exceptions when needed.
• Distribute and update transport limitations and calendars (e.g., strikes).
• Coordinate on-carriage shipments and receiving instructions for CH changes.
• Investigate and resolve issues for CH shipments.
• Raise invoices related to DLF and related services when MH changes in CH.
• Coordinate with terminal operations for efficient handling of CH shipments.
• Adhere to company SOPs and monitor KPIs.

Temporary TR - Coordinator Inland Delivery Team

Job Description

Planning of inland transports in the most cost-effective way and in accordance with vendors selection and service level agreement. Monitoring of vendors performances, delay and exception handling and transport optimization, keeping customers satisfied. Provides immediate response to customer inquiries related to inland activities.

Responsibilities

• Execute transport instruction as per Customer request.
• Coordinates moves in the most cost-effective manner possible and in accordance to service level requirements.
• Creates work orders to and from rail/port for import and export cargo.
• Monitors transport execution to ensure prompt delivery.
• Monitors trucker and equipment accessibility to determine the availability of one- way transports for cost saving opportunities.
• Monitors and evaluates haulers performance and issue service exceptions when needed.
• Updates and distributes truck and rail transport limitations, heavy transport blockage calendar, strikes etc.
• Coordinates on-carriage shipments., also including Receiving transport instructions for changing import MH to CH.
• Investigates and provides problem resolution for CH shipments.
• Issue invoices related to DLF and related additional (FSD, HCD, OAD) in case of import MH changed in CH.
• Coordinates with terminal operations to assure efficient and effective handling of CH shipments.
• Comply to company standard operations procedures and monitor respective key performance Indicators.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of experience in Inland Transportation Operations is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
• Able to adapt to flexible working days and hours.
• Proficiency in MS office applications.
• Systematic and efficient way of working.
