Ford Otosan is seeking a Technology and Automation Engineer (Electric/Electronics) for its Eskişehir plant PTO area. The role focuses on ensuring CNC machines and robots operate reliably, with deep PLC knowledge across Siemens, Fanuc, and Mitsubishi.

The engineer will troubleshoot, maintain motor and drive systems, and drive productivity through automation projects. The candidate will participate in planning, procedures, and Ford-standard quality management, and will lead technology innovations,

Formación

• CNC machines and robots must be functioning in the production line.
• Clear understanding of Siemens, Fanuc and Mitsubishi PLC technologies including programming, commissioning and maintenance.
• Knowledge of NC units (Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi) in CNC machines.
• Troubleshooting failures on systems, automation, and production equipment.
• Ensure motor and drive systems function and are maintained.

We are currently looking for Technology and Automation Engineer (Electric/Electronics) to join our Eskişehir Plant PTO Area Organization. The position will be based on İnönü/Eskişehir. Roles responsibilities will be:

• Being responsible for ensuring CNC Machines(Mazak, DMG Mori etc.) and robots(KUKA, ABB, Staubli), and automation systems in the production line are functioning,
• Comprehensive understanding of Siemens, Fanuc, and Mitsubishi PLC technologies, covering programming, commissioning, and maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of NC units (Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi) in CNC machines,
• Troubleshooting of failures on systems, automation, and production equipment,
• Ensuring all motor and drive systems in the production line are functioning, solving the failures, and controlling their maintenance,
• Following technological developments in the sector and making feasibility studies on the application of these developments in the factory on productivity and cost advantage,
• Ensuring that the industrial communication instruments, sensors, and signaling systems in the production line are functioning,
• Providing planning, instructions, procedures, legal standards, and quality management following Ford standards to ensure the most efficient use of available resources,
• Pioneering technological developments in their area within the sector and the industry, innovations, monitoring competitors, projecting and implementing the necessary applications, Taking part in business development, improvement, and patents,
• Supporting productivity and implementing cost reduction studies within the equipment of the automation systems,
• Taking an active role in solving problems on chronic defects by using problem-solving tools and the six-sigma methodology,
• Being a member of industrial material consumption reduction studies,
• Improving systems and introducing new equipment to the system, delivering training,
• Being a team member on the establishment of specifications for equipment and support under Ford Otosan Standards Creation,
• Being an activator on automation systems, related procedures, instructions,
• Planning the needs for spare parts of equipment and consumables,
• Making cost reduction and localization studies within the automation projects, able to program all the software in the PLC's context, PLC software in all projects,
• Ensuring everything is within the specification on the controls of the PLC programs coming from the suppliers in all projects,
• Capability to interpret electrical plans for troubleshooting, maintenance, and modification of automation and production equipment
