About the role

The Technical Services Manager - Heavy Duty & Industrial is Castrol’s technical domain expert for industrial and heavy-duty applications responsible for leading value selling approach in the Turkish market, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality technical services for direct HD & Industrial Key accounts and prospects. This role is Castrol’s technology ambassador securing close partnership with key customer’s and prospect’s senior stakeholders to drive top and bottom-line growth. Support the sales team in prospect and pipeline management as the technical authority as per the agreed technical offer framework for the market, and through deep involvement in key accounts management plans and cross/up selling activities. The role acts as a key interface between Castrol’s products and services and its customers, with a strong focus on commercial approach, customer centricity, and continuous improvement.

What you will deliver

Acting and behaving according to Castrol Global Business Principles, Code of Conduct, HSE standards and policies.

Provide front line technical support for Key Heavy Duty & Industrial accounts and prospects, including complex technical issue troubleshooting, field trials management, and delivery of high-quality services.

Collaborate with HD & Industrial direct sales team throughout the value selling process, by leading stakeholder’s, demonstrating Castrol’s technology leadership and tailoring differentiated customer value propositions.

Lead the development and execution of the technical services roadmap for Turkey to accelerate growth in Heavy Duty and Industrial sectors (ex. Iron & Steel, Power, Cement, Metal Working Fluids, Mining, Industrial OEMs, etc..).

Develop new innovative technical solutions to differentiate Castrol offering in each HD & Industrial sector.

Deliver high‑impact case studies, value projects for key HD & Industrial accounts, and champion customer intimacy as a Castrol technology ambassador.

Conduct expert onsite inspections for heavy mobile equipment and industrial applications, applying leading reliability and condition‑monitoring methods, providing customers with valuable findings, recommendations and solutions.

Mentor Castrol’s technical services specialists’ team for all front-line technical support activities and a team of technicians (TDU) on various applications and lubrication practices in the field.

Elevate technical capability across the sales, technical and marketing force through training and knowledge transfer.

Support/Lead HD & industrial marketing calendar and activities to deliver business strategy.

Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with major HD & Industrial customers.

Nurture innovation, resilience, and effective prioritization across multiple technical projects.

What you will need to be successful

University degree or equivalent experience (e.g. BSc, BEng) in engineering preferably Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechatronics 10-12 years of validated leadership in roles passionate about industrial sectors, mobile and fixed plant equipment maintenance and lubrication, ideally within the Turkish market.

Minimum 3 years of technical team leadership with success in achieving outstanding customer satisfaction from support & services.
