Job summary

Ödeal is a fintech scaleup shaping the future of payments. We seek a Technical Product Owner to lead product discovery, backlog management, and cross-functional collaboration across agile teams.

You’ll analyze market needs, translate them into user stories, and coordinate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to deliver fintech solutions. Join us to drive impactful projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics or related fields.
• At least min. 6 year of experience in Product Owner / Product Lead roles in fintech or payments.
• Strong ability to document and define user stories.
• Basic understanding of programming languages and applications.
• Experience in IT delivery project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of TDD, BDD, DDD and at least one engineering method.
• Knowledge of SQL, database design and data flows.
• Ability to test REST and SOAP services using Postman/SoapUI.
• Proficiency with Jira, SDLC and Agile methodologies; analytical, results- and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fintech market analysis and feasibility studies.
• Act as Product Owner for the scrum team and manage backlogs.
• Evaluate requests from different departments and stakeholders.
• Bridge between developers and product teams to align on deliverables.
• Participate in UAT and ensure delivery to stakeholders.

Your Role:

Our agile product teams are going through exciting changes that involve the design and development of new systems, improving existing systems and working with some of latest technologies available.

We’re looking for a Technical Product Owner that will;

• Conduct fintech market analysis and feasibility for products and services according to market conditions and customer experience,
• Assume the role of "Product Owner" of the scrum team,
• Examine and analyze requests from different departments or stakeholders,
• Acting as a bridge between developers and product teams,
• Take part in UAT test process,
• Ensure that the prepared products and services are delivered to the relevant stakeholders.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics or related fields,
• At least min. 6 year of experience working on similar role such as Product Owner, Product Lead. Payment system and fintech knowledge is big plus
• Experience in analysis, strong documentation skills and good ability to define user stories,
• A basic understanding of technology languages and applications,
• Experience in managing IT delivery projects,
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization,
• Knowledge of TDD, BDD, DDD and apply minimum one of these software engineering techniques,
• Knowledge of SQL, database design, algorithms, and flow diagrams,
• Ability to test rest and soap services using postman, soapui or similar test tools,
• Have strong knowledge about Jira, SDLC, Agile methodologies,
• Good at analytical thinking, result-oriented, team-oriented, open-minded
