Job summary

Arkas Holding Port and Terminal Services Group in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul, seeks a Technical Procurement Assistant Manager to lead sourcing activities and manage project procurement.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in engineering or business, excellent English, strong MS Office and SAP-SRM/MM experience, at least seven years in procurement, and is mobile with a valid Class B license.

Qualifications

• University graduate preferably in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
• Advanced level of MS Office programs.
• Experience with SAP-SRM/MM module.
• Minimum 7 years of procurement experience, especially in technical purchasing.
• Class B driver's license.
• Willingness to be mobile for assignments.
• Completed military obligation for male candidates.

Responsibilities

• Organize demands of customers in line with company procurement procedures.
• Lead sourcing activities for various spend categories, mainly investments/project procurement.
• Lead projects efficiently within defined budget and timeline.
• Develop procurement timelines and coordinate cross-functional resources.
• Research alternative suppliers through meetings and field visits.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to save costs and ensure quality.
• Monitor supplier performance and report issues or discrepancies.
• Manage purchasing performance per company policies and guidelines.
• Maintain supplier relationships and implement category strategies.
• Organize meetings with stakeholders to follow up on issues and explore improvements.

Technical Procurement Assistant Manager is expected to work in the Procurement Department of Arkas Holding Port and Terminal Services Group located at Marport Terminal Operators in Beylikdüzü / İstanbul.

• University graduate preferably in faculty of Engineering, or Business Administration
