Job summary

LHH, a leading international automotive firm, seeks a structured procurement professional to strengthen regional capabilities in Türkiye. Based at the Istanbul HQ (Asian side), you will lead supplier sourcing, manage RFQs, and coordinate with local ERP systems to drive cost efficiency and supply reliability.

The role emphasizes onboarding governance, supplier development, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, and planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in procurement or new supplier sourcing, preferably within automotive, industrial, or multinational environments.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented commercial mindset.
• Experience in improving procurement processes.
• Fluency in English is the most essential aspect for this role.
• High level of initiative, strong collaboration skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier sourcing activities across assigned categories within the Turkish market.
• Manage end-to-end RFQ processes, parts setup workflows, and integration with local ERP systems.
• Support commercial and service-related procurement requests to identify growth opportunities.
• Design, document, and continuously improve a local vendor onboarding framework aligned with global standards.
• Develop structured processes for RFQ management, parts creation, and supplier onboarding to ensure transparency and traceability.
• Strengthen procurement governance and documentation practices.
• Identify, assess, and qualify new suppliers to expand the local supplier base.
• Conduct market analysis to evaluate risks, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
• Drive localization initiatives to enhance cost efficiency and supply flexibility.
• Lead supplier negotiations to optimize pricing, total cost of ownership (TCO), and service levels.
• Monitor supplier KPIs, manage performance issues, and implement improvement plans.
• Work closely with customer service, material planning, engineering, quality, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure timely communication, alignment on priorities, and proactive issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities
