Currently, our client is currently strengthening its regional procurement capabilities and is seeking a structured, proactive, and commercially driven professional to join its global team in Türkiye. This role offers a dynamic environment with strong international exposure and opportunities to contribute to both operational excellence and strategic development. This position will be at the HQ of Turkey operations, located at Asian side of Istanbul.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Procurement Execution
- Lead supplier sourcing activities across assigned categories within the Turkish market.
- Manage end-to-end RFQ processes, parts setup workflows, and integration with local ERP systems.
- Support commercial and service-related procurement requests to identify growth opportunities.
Process Ownership & Development
- Design, document, and continuously improve a local vendor onboarding framework aligned with global standards.
- Develop structured processes for RFQ management, parts creation, and supplier onboarding to ensure transparency and traceability.
- Strengthen procurement governance and documentation practices.
Supplier Development & Market Expansion
- Identify, assess, and qualify new suppliers to expand the local supplier base.
- Conduct market analysis to evaluate risks, opportunities, and competitive positioning
- Drive localization initiatives to enhance cost efficiency and supply flexibility.
Negotiation & Commercial Performance
- Lead supplier negotiations to optimize pricing, total cost of ownership (TCO), and service levels.
- Monitor supplier KPIs, manage performance issues, and implement improvement plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with customer service, material planning, engineering, quality, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely communication, alignment on priorities, and proactive issue resolution.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in procurement or new supplier sourcing, preferably within automotive, industrial, or multinational environments.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented commercial mindset.
- Experience in improving procurement processes.
- Fluency in English is the most essential asptect for this role.
