The ideal candidate has a civil/environmental/chemical/mechanical engineering degree, 10+ years in water/wastewater projects, and proven experience with FIDIC contracts, English proficiency, and strong

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 10 years in water/wastewater sector.
• Experience in 2+ FIDIC-based construction supervision projects acting for the Employer.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong MS Office skills and project coordination capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Overall management and coordination of the project and supervision team.
• Coordinate experts and allocate tasks to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee construction activities and monitor progress against requirements and timelines.
• Liaise with Employer, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Monitor contractual, technical and financial aspects of the project.

• Identify and manage project risks and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, procedures and quality standards.

PLANET S.A. is seeking an experienced Team Leader / Project Manager for a major water and wastewater infrastructure project in Hatay and Osmaniye, Türkiye.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of the project team and will have a key role in the supervision of construction works, ensuring effective delivery throughout the entire construction period.

The position requires strong experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects, construction supervision and FIDIC-based contracts, combined with proven project management and stakeholder coordination capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Overall management and coordination of the project and supervision team.
• Coordination of experts and allocation of tasks to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
• Overall supervision of construction activities and monitoring of progress against project requirements and timelines.
• Liaison with the Employer, contractors, project counterparts and other relevant stakeholders.
• Monitoring of contractual, technical and financial aspects of the project.
• Preparation and coordination of project reports and other required documentation.
• Identification and management of project risks, issues and corrective actions.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable contractual requirements, procedures and quality standards.
• Supporting the implementation of the Works Contract in accordance with FIDIC conditions and project requirements.

• University degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in at least three (3) infrastructure construction and/or construction supervision projects involving one or more of the following:
  • water networks,
  • wastewater networks,
  • drinking water treatment plants,
  • wastewater treatment plants.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the water/wastewater sector.
• Experience in at least two (2) FIDIC-based construction supervision projects, working on behalf of the Employer as Team Leader, Project Manager, Deputy Team Leader, Resident Engineer, Engineer or Engineer’s Representative.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications.
• Availability to work full time throughout the construction period.

Additional Assets

• Experience in the operation of water and/or wastewater networks.
• Experience in the operation of drinking water and/or wastewater treatment plants.
• Experience in the implementation of PRAG procedures.
• Previous professional/project experience in Türkiye.
