Job summary

Huhtamaki Flexible Packaging Türkiye is seeking a Tax Supervisor to ensure tax compliance, prepare and review declarations, and coordinate audits from Istanbul Esenyurt. You will work closely with the Accounting team and external advisors to maintain accurate tax reporting.

You will monitor changes in Turkish tax legislation, support transfer pricing and VAT refunds, and contribute to process improvements across the tax function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• 5–8 years of taxation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish tax legislation.
• Experience with SAP/ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax declarations including VAT, withholding tax, stamp tax, corporate income tax, and provisional tax.
• Monitor Turkish tax legislation and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Coordinate tax audits with external advisors, auditors, and CPAs.
• Support corporate tax matters including transfer pricing, tax reconciliations, and VAT refunds.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance, preparing and reviewing tax declarations, coordinating tax audits, monitoring changes in tax legislation, and supporting tax-related processes. You will work closely with the Accounting team and external advisors to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.You will report to the **Finance Manager** and be part of the **Finance Team**.**Where you’ll be*** You will be located at our Esenyurt site in İstanbul / Türkiye and you should be within reasonable commuting distance from here.**What You’ll Be Doing*** Prepare and review tax declarations, including VAT, Withholding Tax, Stamp Tax, Corporate Income Tax, and Provisional Tax.* Monitor changes in Turkish tax legislation and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.* Coordinate tax audits and work closely with external tax advisors, auditors, and certified public accountants.* Support corporate tax matters, including transfer pricing, tax reconciliations, and VAT refund processes.* Identify tax risks and contribute to process improvements.* Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.**What You’ll Bring To The Role*** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.* 5–8 years of experience in taxation.* Strong knowledge of Turkish Tax Legislation.* Experience in a large-scale company or an audit/tax advisory firm is an advantage.* Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.* Good command of English is preferred.* Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.* Values similar to ours: Care, Dare and Deliver.**What We Offer In Return*** The opportunity to work and grow in a truly global organization, collaborating with professionals in a global context.* LinkedIn Learning Access and wide development opportunities* Strong benefits package**Go ahead, apply today!**If this sounds like a good fit, then we’d love to hear from you**.** Once we review applications, we’ll then reach you.
