Job summary

TCI Aircraft Interiors in Türkiye seeks a skilled IT System Administrator to support our mission-critical infrastructure for aircraft systems. You will manage Windows and Linux servers, networks, and security, ensuring high availability and compliance with aviation standards.

The role requires hands-on experience in IT operations, scripting (PowerShell and Bash), backup and recovery, and strong English proficiency to communicate with international partners and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on system administration and IT infrastructure operations.
• Advanced Windows Server administration experience.
• Advanced Linux server administration experience.
• PowerShell and Bash scripting skills.
• Backup, recovery, storage and business continuity knowledge.
• TCP/IP, VLANs, routing and firewall basics.
• Microsoft certs preferred (Windows Server).
• System monitoring, log analysis and capacity management.
• C1 English proficiency for technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform verification and testing activities for IFE/IFC R&D projects.
• Review design documents and software requirements.
• Prepare test plans and procedures for System and Software Testing.
• Manage test procedures and documentation with change control.
• Execute manual tests and ensure coverage and traceability.
• Create, track and manage defect reports and findings.
• Report defects and assess project risks from testing perspective.
• Support development of test automation infrastructure.
• Contribute to improvement of testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
• Hands-on experience in system administration and IT infrastructure operations.
• Advanced knowledge and practical experience in administering Windows Server operating systems.
• Advanced knowledge and practical experience in administering Linux server operating systems.
• Knowledge and practical experience in PowerShell and Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, storage systems, and business continuity processes.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator Associate or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in system monitoring, performance tracking, log analysis, and capacity management.
• C1-level English proficiency, with the ability to understand technical documentation and communicate effectively with aviation authorities and manufacturers, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date system inventories and operational documentation.
• Availability to participate in scheduled maintenance outside regular working hours and an on-call rotation as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report verification, validation, and testing activities for IFE (In-Flight Entertainment) and IFC (In-Flight Connectivity) R&D and product development projects.
• Review, analyze, and interpret system-level design documents, software architecture documents, system requirements, and software requirements.
• Prepare test plans, test procedures, and test processes for System Testing, Software Testing, and Acceptance Testing activities in accordance with project lifecycle requirements.
• Analyze test scenarios based on impacted areas, actively manage test procedures, implement change management activities, and maintain test documentation up to date.
• Execute periodic manual test runs through Xray and ensure proper test coverage and traceability.
• Create, document, track, and manage defect reports and test findings.
• Report defects and assess project risks from a testing and verification perspective.
• Support and actively contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation infrastructure and frameworks.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams, project stakeholders, suppliers, and customers in an international environment.
