Job summary

METRO Türkiye is seeking a competent Central Ordering professional to optimize stock levels and drive efficient demand and supply processes across stores.

You will use Order Management Systems and MS Office to determine quantities, forecast demand, and support cross-functional initiatives in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in central ordering management processes for stores.
• Proficiency in Order Management Systems.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Advanced Excel skills with reporting experience.
• Strong analytical thinking and a results-driven mindset.
• Strong team player with a collaborative working style.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and supply planning activities to optimize stock levels and improve product availability.
• Be responsible for the demand and supply processes of Central Ordering products and suppliers.
• Determine accurate order quantities by effectively using systems and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
• Evaluate all ordering criteria that impact the demand planning process.
• Manage ordering actions that support in-store stock management processes.
• Lead demand forecasting analysis and reporting activities.
• Actively and efficiently use ordering and forecasting systems/tools.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects with strong communication and collaboration skills.
