Job summary

Puratos Izmir is seeking a Production Planning professional to help shape our manufacturing scheduling and capacity planning. You will evaluate forecasts, create production plans and optimize schedules to minimize setup times and stops.

The role requires strong data analysis, advanced Excel, and ERP experience with SAP PP/MM. English and Turkish fluency, plus teamwork and proactive learning, are essential for success in our growing team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, material planning or supply planning.
Advanced Excel and strong data analysis skills.
ERP/MRP knowledge; SAP PP/MM experience is preferred.
Strong analytical and numerical thinking.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn.
Ability to create practical systems, reports and workflows according to operational needs.
Good command of English and Turkish.

Responsibilities

Evaluate forecasts and sales orders from capacity and material requirement perspectives.
Create, monitor and update production plans.
Optimise production schedules for efficiency, minimum setup and minimum production stops.
Create and follow material requirements / requisitions.
Monitor critical materials, inventory risks, obsolete stock and food waste risks.
Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, R&D, Marketing and Quality teams.
Analyse planning risks, material shortages, capacity constraints and backorder risks.
Prepare planning, inventory and production performance reports.
Support continuous improvement and digitalization of planning processes.
