Job summary

Recordati is seeking a motivated Procurement Specialist to join our direct procurement team. You will act as a strategic partner for internal stakeholders and suppliers, driving end-to-end procurement operations, sourcing strategies, and sustainability-focused cost optimization.

Based in Istanbul with flexibility to work at the Çerkezköy Factory at least one day per week, you will collaborate across functions to ensure production continuity.

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional procurement experience in pharma.
• Knowledgeable in SAP S/4HANA and e-tender platforms.
• Contract management knowledge and risk handling.
• Ability to lead end-to-end projects with initiative.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.
• Resilience and ability to work under pressure in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Willingness to rotate roles and travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Category management of APIs, excipients, and packaging materials.
• Develop alternative supplier sources.
• Utilize vendor management and e-tender platforms for sourcing.
• Coordinate with Planning to manage MRP and demand projections.
• Incorporate sustainability in supplier selection and evaluation.
• Support customs clearance with Logistics for import orders.
• Track OTIF performance and order cycles.
• Update internal procurement procedures as needed.
• Contribute to MENA and international projects.
