Job summary

Beko Corporate in İstanbul, Türkiye, is seeking a Category Specialist - Purchasing (Metal Process) to join the Purchasing Directorate. You will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and work cross-functionally to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master's/Ph.D. a plus)
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Proactively challenge the status quo to drive efficiency and improvements
• Work closely with different business units for requested items or services
• Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies to meet objectives and build supplier relationships
• Create competitive environments with suppliers to support negotiations
• Build cross-functional relationships to influence change
• Plan, conduct, and finalize all commercial negotiations for project-based purchases
• Follow technology trends and propose cost innovations or efficiency ideas
