Job summary

Beko Corporate in İstanbul, Türkiye, is seeking a Category Specialist - Purchasing (Metal Process) to join the Purchasing Directorate. You will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and work cross-functionally to meet project objectives.

Applicants should hold an Engineering degree, be fluent in English, and have strong Microsoft Office skills; SAP experience is a plus. We value initiative, teamwork, and adaptability in a diverse global team.

Responsibilities

• Proactively challenge the status quo to drive efficiency and improvements

• Build cross-functional relationships to influence change
• Plan, conduct, and finalize all commercial negotiations for project-based purchases
• Follow technology trends and propose cost innovations or efficiency ideas

We are looking for a Category Specialist - Purchasing (Metal Process) who will join our team at Purchasing Directorate.

• Proactive and inquisitive- eager to challenge the status quo to drive efficiency and improvement,
• Work closely with different business units for the requested items or services,
• Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers,
• Create competitive environments with suppliers to support the negotiation strategy,
• Build relationships and effectively partner cross-functionally with business partners and external suppliers to influence change,
• Plan, conduct, and finalize all commercial negotiations for project-based purchases,
• Following up on the technology closely and bringing up new cost innovation or efficiency project ideas.

The position is located in İstanbul, Türkiye.
