Job summary

World Food Programme Türkiye seeks a consultant to provide strategic and technical guidance on fundraising models and regulatory requirements within the Turkish context. The role includes assessing laws, identifying fundraising mechanisms, and developing a comprehensive strategy and implementation roadmap for resource mobilization.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or degree with relevant experience in political science, international development, or related fields.
• At least nine years of progressive postgraduate professional experience in resource mobilization, partnerships or related areas.
• Strong skills in fundraising strategy, regulatory assessment, stakeholder engagement and partnership development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical guidance on fundraising models and regulatory compliance in Türkiye.
• Conduct legal/regulatory assessment of Turkish fundraising laws and reporting requirements.
• Map fundraising landscape and benchmark against similar NGOs to identify viable mechanisms.
• Develop a fundraising strategy and implementation roadmap for WFP Türkiye.
• Deliver knowledge transfer through training sessions and documentation of lessons learned.
• Prepare final recommendations report with engagement plans and rollout roadmap.
