Job summary

World Food Programme seeks a senior advisor to assess fundraising opportunities in Türkiye, design compliant fundraising modalities, and guide strategic partnerships. The consultant will map the landscape, benchmark against peers, and prepare engagement plans and proposals for senior leadership review.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or higher in a relevant field (political science, international development, development economics or related).
• Excellent knowledge of Turkish and English (oral and written).
• Strong networking, negotiation and communication skills with the private sector and donors.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical fundraising guidance to assess and design compliant fundraising mechanisms in Türkiye.
• Review fundraising landscape, identify opportunities, and benchmark against international organizations.
• Develop engagement plans, fundraising propositions, concept notes, and presentations.
• Deliver trainings on findings and recommendations to WFP personnel and prepare final roadmap.
