Job summary

Abbott in Istanbul seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to oversee financial planning, budgeting, and profitability analysis within the Established Pharmaceuticals Division. You will partner with Commercial teams, manage month-end close, and ensure accurate reporting to regional stakeholders.

The role requires at least five years in finance, a finance-related degree, and strong English; healthcare/pharma experience is preferred. On-site in Istanbul with standard work shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration or Economics
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Finance department
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Support yearly financial plan and quarterly Latest Best Estimate preparations (expenditures, profit, headcount, cash flow)
• Lead regular month-end closing activities with stakeholders from Finance and Operations
• Partner with commercial teams on financial planning, budget management and long-range plans
• Prepare financial data for reconciliation and S&OP meetings with latest results, risks and contingencies
• Perform profitability analysis on products and report results with brand P&Ls
• Identify and communicate gaps between forecast and financial commitments
• Ensure monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting to Region and Division
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded properly and explain variances
• Monitor action item completion from prior S&OP meetings
• Initiate ad-hoc analyses for strategic decisions of Turkey affiliate
• Lead Profit & Loss improvement projects
• Implement SOP processes in finance area
