Job summary

GEA Group is seeking a seasoned Finance Controlling professional to join our international team in Konak, Turkey. You will own the monthly close, IFRS reporting, and group consolidation activities, working closely with Project teams to drive cost control and financial insight.

The role requires strong Turkish GAAP and IFRS knowledge, 5–6 years in audit or controlling, and proficiency with SAP/SAC/BW. Excellent English communication and advanced Excel are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or related field.
• Fluent English communication, written and spoken.
• 5–6 years of experience in Audit or Financial Controlling, Big 4 a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP and IFRS.
• CPA / SMMM qualification is a plus.
• Good knowledge of SAP, SAP Analytics, SAC, and BW.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly close and prepare IFRS financial statements.
• Manage trial balance, adjustment schedules, reconciliations and flux analysis.
• Prepare and submit Group reporting through consolidation tools with deadlines.
• Prepare PoC statements and support cost controlling with project teams.
• Prepare margin and cost center analyses with Sales and Project teams.
• Manage IFRS 16 data preparation and submission through Tagetik.
• Prepare rolling forecasts and annual budgets.
• Produce ad hoc financial analyses and reports as required.
