Job summary

Canon in Istanbul is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead financial controlling, accounting, cash collection and reporting, ensuring IFRS compliance and alignment with company policy. The role acts as a strategic partner to Sales, Operations and Management teams by providing financial guidance, supporting project-based sales opportunities, optimizing working capital and driving financial performance.

Strategic financial thinking, business partnership, commercial acumen and strong IFRS

Qualifications

+12 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, Controlling and Cash Collection.
Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
Strong knowledge of IFRS including IFRS 16 Lease Accounting.
Experience in financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
Experience with accounts receivable management, cash collection and working capital optimization.

Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning.
Analyze performance, identify risks/opportunities, and advise management.
Prepare monthly reports, KPIs and variance analyses.
Support strategic decision making through financial modelling and profitability analysis.
Provide financial support for project-based sales opportunities and contract assessments.
Advise sales on margins, payment terms and financing impacts; review assumptions.
