Job summary

Human Kapital is seeking a Budget and Control Specialist for a global pharmaceutical/manufacturing client. The role sits in the Finance Department and reports to the Finance Director, supporting budgeting, cost control and financial reporting as the company migrates to a standalone structure.

Qualified candidates will have a Finance/Accounting degree, strong SAP FI/CO and MS Excel skills, and proven experience in month-end closing, variance analysis and inventory valuation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control or controlling in pharma, FMCG or manufacturing industries.
• Active involvement in month-end closing, P&L reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate month-end closing and P&L reporting with Accounting; explain variances against budget, latest forecast and prior year.
• Prepare the annual budget and periodic forecasts; validate production volume, cost, headcount and expense assumptions.
• Analyze material, labor and overhead costs; track standard costs, PPV and scrap variances.
