Job summary

Baykar Istanbul is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Associate to receive, move and store materials, ensuring accurate records and timely production line feeding. The candidate should have a high school or vocational diploma, 2+ years in warehouse/inventory and internal logistics, proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, and forklift certification.

Willingness to work shifts and reside on Istanbul's European side is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive materials, transport, and store in correct locations.
• Record inbound/outbound transactions and issue dispatch notes.
• Perform regular inventory counts and stock updates.
• Maintain warehouse area organization, cleanliness, and safety.
• Prepare materials for production and coordinate line feeding.
• Carry out internal logistics dispatches to production.
• Inspect returns and document records.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely per regulations.

Job description

General Qualifications

• High school or Vocational School graduate,
• At least 2 years of experience in materials, semi-finished and finished goods warehouse and inventory management, and internal logistics processes,
• Proficient and effective user of MS Office programs,
• Preferably experienced in production and line feeding processes in the Electrical - Electronics sector,
• Preferably able to operate active forklifts and warehouse transport vehicles with necessary certifications,
• Preferably knowledgeable in ERP software, actively using warehouse modules,
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills,
• Residing or willing to reside on the European side of Istanbul,
• Able to adapt to shift work system, high work tempo, and flexible working hours.

Job Description

• Receiving materials into the warehouse, transporting them in a controlled manner, and placing them in appropriate warehouse locations,
• Recording material incoming and outgoing transactions, preparing dispatch notes and invoice documentation, archiving and safeguarding these records,
• Conducting regular inventory counts, updating records, and ensuring seamless execution of stock control processes,
• Maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and security of the warehouse area, protecting warehouse equipment and fixtures,
• Preparing semi-finished and raw materials required for the production line in a timely and accurate manner, coordinating line feeding processes,
• Carrying out material dispatches to the production area and efficiently managing internal logistics operations,
• Receiving and inspecting material returns and creating relevant records,
• Conducting warehouse and internal logistics activities in accordance with company quality policies and occupational health and safety procedures,
• Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, efficiently, and according to regulations.
