Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus in Istanbul seeks a visionary Director of Spa and Wellness to lead the Spa, Fitness and Kids Club operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and profitable results.

You will collaborate with Global Spa Corporate in Hong Kong to develop and oversee group spa initiatives, maintain high service standards, and align with the hotel’s luxury brand. This role requires strategic leadership and a passion for wellbeing.

Qualifications

• To be prepared to oversee Spa and Wellness strategy, budget and people.
• Strong leadership and ability to engage with VIP guests and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and guest-relations skills.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on luxury service standards.
• Ability to develop and implement SOPs for Spa, Fitness and Kids Club.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall Spa, Fitness and Spa Pool operations and Kids Club operations.
• Assist Global Spa Corporate in Hong Kong with development and rollout of group initiatives.
• Develop yearly budget for Spa & Fitness and forecast as needed.
• Compile financial performance and monthly P&L for Spa; discuss with Management.
• Review daily revenue updates and participate in weekly management meetings.
• Set strategies to achieve targets and motivate retail sales.
• Establish achievable goals for spa team including treatments and retail.
• Work with budget goals and cost control across service lines.
• Approve yearly Capex with Operations Manager.
• Review monthly stock checks for financial reporting.
• Ensure purchasing aligns with budget and select product lines with purchasing manager.
• Monitor equipment and facility conditions to prevent loss or wear.
• Brief morning meetings to address issues and guest groups in-house.
