Job summary

MobileAction, a leading app growth and analytics platform, is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our global engineering team. You will build features across a microservices stack and contribute to scalable SaaS products while advancing your technical expertise.

You'll work with Vue.js frontend and Java/Spring backend on AWS, RDS, and Heroku, collaborating with Product, QA, and other engineers in a fast-paced, open, high-trust environment that rewards ownership and learning.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience with server-side technologies such as Spring, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity while owning the final solution.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Our platform is built with a Vue.js frontend and a Java/Spring backend running on a microservices architecture using AWS, RDS, and Heroku. We continuously build new capabilities that help app marketers succeed while solving complex engineering challenges at scale.

What You'll Do

• Build new features across our microservices architecture
• Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Participate in code reviews and write automated tests
• Improve the applications and services you work on
• Contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices
• Troubleshoot bugs, analyze production issues, and help improve system reliability
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Share knowledge with teammates and contribute to engineering best practices
• Leverage AI tools where appropriate to improve productivity, code quality, and problem-solving, while applying sound engineering judgment and maintaining ownership of your work

What You’ll Bring
