Job summary

NTH Teknoloji A.Ş. in Türkiye is seeking an SMT Supervisor to own the day-to-day management of the SMT line, ensuring shift planning, staff deployment, and achievement of production targets (quantity, quality, and OEE).

Responsibilities include preparing deployment plans, tracking targets, reporting stoppages, coordinating first-piece/last-piece inspections, enforcing safety and 5S rules, and conducting staff evaluations with disciplinary actions when needed.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Industrial or Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years SMT line experience, plus 1 year in team/shift management.
• Experience tracking production via MES/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement the daily/weekly shift and staff deployment plan.
• Track SMT production targets (quantity, efficiency, scrap) and act on deviations.
• Report line stoppages, breakdowns and shortages to Equipment Engineering, Warehouse, PMC.
• Coordinate first-piece/last-piece inspection processes.
• Monitor safety, 5S and quality rules on the shop floor.
• Conduct staff performance evaluations and manage disciplinary processes when required.

Role Overview

To take ownership of the day-to-day operational management of the SMT line; to ensure shift planning, staff deployment and production targets (quantity, quality, OEE) are met fully and on time. This position reports to: Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement the daily/weekly shift and staff deployment plan
• Track SMT production targets (quantity, efficiency, scrap rate) and take action on deviations
• Timely report line stoppages, breakdowns and material shortages to relevant units (Equipment Engineering, Warehouse, PMC)
• Coordinate the implementation of first-piece/last-piece inspection processes
• Monitor compliance with safety, 5S and quality rules on the shop floor
• Conduct staff performance evaluations and manage disciplinary processes when required
